Although Bartlett Ltd is now an employee-owned company, we never forget where we come from. Our founder, Ken Bartlett, and the Bartlett family were passionate — and very talented — sailors, with a long-standing connection to the River Exe and its sailing community.

Ken and his family always supported the Exe Regatta, and we’re delighted to honour that legacy by continuing to do the same.

We wish everyone involved a fantastic week of events on the water, from Saturday 13th to Sunday 21st June 2026.

The Bartlett Crew are out in force across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and West Dorset.

With the current heatwave putting extra pressure on refrigeration, air conditioning and catering equipment, our Bartlett engineers are working long, tireless days to support customers experiencing breakdowns.

The team is doing everything possible to reach as many sites as they can each day, getting equipment back up and running quickly and helping to minimise downtime for our clients.

It was a pleasure to host Richard Jones of Daikin at our Exeter office yesterday to officially mark our new status as a Daikin UK D-Carbonise Partner.

This partnership, combined with our long-standing Daikin D1+ Partner status, ensures that our clients remain in the safest possible hands for all VRV, DX, Applied, and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) solutions.

We are incredibly proud to be one of the first independent companies in the South West to join the D-Carbonise family. This achievement is even more meaningful as it coincides with the same day we successfully complete our audit for the renewal of our BS8555 certification and of course, we continue to be a member of REFCOM Elite.

Since becoming an Employee-Owned Company, environmental awareness has been a top priority for our team. These certifications are a testament to that commitment, showcasing our dedication to sustainable growth and technical excellence.

🎉 Today marks 3 years since Bartlett Ltd became an Employee-Owned Company.

This is a milestone we are incredibly proud to celebrate.

Founded in 1958, Bartlett has built a reputation for delivering professional, reliable and high-quality service across commercial refrigeration, catering equipment and air conditioning/heat pumps. From design and supply through to installation, maintenance and ongoing service support, we provide complete solutions for customers across the South West.

Over the past three years operating under an Employee Ownership Trust, the business has continued to go from strength to strength.

Today we have 70 employee-owners, meaning every member of the team has a genuine stake in the success of the company and the service we deliver. That shared ownership drives the pride, commitment and teamwork that our customers experience every day.

Our experienced sales and design teams work closely with customers to develop tailored solutions, while our dedicated engineers support installations, maintenance and rapid response servicing whenever it’s needed.

We firmly believe that the team we have today is the strongest and closest it has been for many years, and that unity is reflected in the quality of work we deliver.
