🔧 Boiler Pressure – Nothing to Panic About 🔧

We often get asked about boiler pressure and topping up — so here’s some reassurance 👇

If your boiler was installed around 7–8 months ago and you’ve had to top it up once or twice, that’s completely normal. On average, most boilers may need topping up once or twice a year, especially with regular use.

If your boiler is running for long periods (for example 10–12 hours a day during colder months), it’s even more normal to see a small drop in pressure over time.

👉 Top tip:
Don’t be afraid to top up your boiler pressure if needed. It’s part of normal maintenance.

🚿 Problem solved, property protected!

Our customer noticed a damp patch on her wall and called us in to investigate. We quickly found the issue — a large gap around the bottom of the shower tray allowing water to leak through and cause damage.

On top of that, the hot water was constantly going hot and cold. After ruling out the boiler, we replaced the faulty shower mixer and fully resealed the shower to prevent any future leaks.
