A New Chapter with the Excel Audax ✨

Mr Anderson from Blackburn was looking for a mobility solution that would give him confidence, comfort, and the freedom to get out and about

Having previously experienced poor service from other mobility retailers, he was committed to finding reliable, local Mobility Specialists to support him further. And that’s what lead him to visit Modern Mobility Blackburn store to explore his options 🤩

After discussing his need for a mobility scooter, Sharon was delighted to help Mr Anderson and offer him some options that aligned with his desires. Sharon hand-picked Mr Anderson some options to consider, allowing him test drive the scooters which stood out the most 🤝

He went home a proud owner of an Excel Audax Mobility Scooter, complete with an extended insurance and warranty package - Giving him peace of mind as he begins this new exciting chapter 🛵

Today is organised by the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH), to raise global awareness on Mental Health conditions, reduce stigma, and mobilise support 🧠❤️‍🩹

This year’s theme is “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change.” This is to highlight the importance of providing opportunities for those who have personally lived with mental health challenges to help shape decisions that organisations, policymakers, and communities make 🦋

We are happy to show support in spreading awareness of mental health challenges and help in contributing to creating better informed and supported communities 💚

Extra Support, Big Differences 💗

Mrs Farnworth had started to struggle with the stairs at home, and with her husband living with dementia, getting safely and comfortably between floors regularly had become increasingly difficult. They were looking for a stairlift to support them and gain the confidence to use the stairs again 😞

After speaking with our Blackburn Modern Mobility store, Gemma assisted Mrs Farnworth and listened to all of her wants and needs before suggesting some options that Mrs Farnsworth could take into consideration when deciding which stairlift she would like in her home. She chose the Handicare 1100 Stairlift and Gemma arranged for her stairlift assessment. Mrs Farnworth was also able to personalise her stairlift, making sure she was happy with how it looked in her home 🏡

Our Mobility Technicians, Kurt and Lewis, then visited the home to install her brand new Handicare 1100; a perfect fit for her staircase. Amazed by how efficient the Modern Mobility team were, Mrs Farnworth greatly appreciated the express stairlift installation 👍
