Dr Wes Maru has just returned from The 3rd General Assembly meeting of the ENCASE project which took place last week at the Politecnico di Milano Piacenza Campus, and at the LEAP s.c.a r.l. Tecnopolo Piacenza.
During the two days, there were numerous points of reflection. On the second day, Dr. Alina Kadyrova and Dr. Francesca Calò of The Open University conducted the second co-creation workshop live, in which they introduced different steps about co-creation and conducted a one-to-one mentoring session with each partner.
The EU has committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030 and becoming carbon neutral by 2050. Deployment of Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) from different industrial sectors across Europe is a powerful fast track approach to abate CO₂ emissions. The consortium includes 20 partners from 6 different countries, of which OGM is one of these. It is with this collaborative spirit that we contribute to the ENCASE project by delivering a primary standard small volume (piston) prover and high-resolution ultrasonic flow meter (HR-USM) to accurately measure the multi-phase Liquid-Supercritical CO₂ flow in controlled flow loops.
