Internal vs. External Expansion Vessels – What’s the Difference?

When water is heated, it naturally expands. Because water is almost incompressible, this extra volume creates increased pressure inside your system. Without proper expansion control, that pressure has nowhere to go - putting your equipment at risk.

External Expansion Vessels

We’re proud to highlight one of our valued OEM partners in the water heating industry Kooltech Ltd who, in collaboration with HOB Mechanical Services, has successfully installed two Kcon 255L domestic hot water cylinders.
