After four decades with Hiab, the time has come for Ian Bebb to retire. 👏
Ian originally started his career in Engineering before making the move into Sales, where he found his real calling.
Over the years, he estimates he’s sold around 2,000 cranes. That’s a lot of cranes, a lot of customers and, we imagine, a fair few miles up and down the road!
But Ian’s career has never just been about the numbers. It’s been about the people he’s met along the way and the relationships he’s built with customers, dealers, bodybuilders and colleagues over more than 40 years.
He’s seen an enormous amount of change in the industry during that time, from the equipment and technology to the way we do business. And through it all, Ian has been a familiar face to generations of HIAB customers.
So, after 40 years, we think he’s more than earned the chance to swap the sales meetings and customer visits for a few rounds of golf, some classic car time and plenty of time with the family.
Ian, thank you for everything you’ve contributed to Hiab over the years. Your knowledge, experience, stories and the relationships you've built will be greatly missed.
