Remember Fionn Murphy?
Well, a few months ago, we welcomed Fionn to our team after his apprenticeship journey took an unexpected turn.
Having started his first-year electrical apprenticeship elsewhere, Fionn suddenly found himself without a placement following a business restructuring and the closure of their MEICA service. Through no fault of his own, a promising young apprentice was left wondering what came next.
We said we'd keep you updated on his journey, so fast forward to today and we're delighted to share that Fionn has been nominated by West Lothian College (Official) for a Student Excellence Award 👏
The nomination is a testament to Fionn's attitude, commitment and determination and we're incredibly proud to see his hard work being recognised.
When our Electrical Supervisor Scott Mckenzie reached out to help Fionn continue his apprenticeship, we knew we were bringing in someone with huge potential. Since joining, Fionn has become a valued member of the team and has embraced every opportunity to learn, develop and grow.
We believe investing in apprentices is investing in the future of our industry. Stories like Fionn's are a reminder of the importance of supporting young talent and providing opportunities for people to thrive.
Congratulations Fionn on this well-deserved recognition and we wish you well for the awards presentation next week.
