After 50 years, Neil Thompson has completed his final day with the company, today he retires after spending his whole working career with Stanley F Cutter Ltd.
Neil has seen a Lot of change over the years, working on the engineering side, manufacturing many different products, and adapting to the National Tyre work, doing their vehicles, fitting air compressors and piping up for air products.
Then changing to crane work, working on Hiab and Atlas cranes, changing from Pneumatic to Hydraulic, repairing, servicing cranes up until 1999, when he and Shaun went into partnership together, and driving the company forward, creating many a partnership with a lot of companies, fitting cranes, and still providing the brilliant service repairing, testing and servicing cranes for many companies throughout the region.
Fast forward to the end of 2025 when we walked away from the building that Neil served his time in 49 years ago!
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for all you have given, and the laughs and camaraderie throughout the years.
Now it’s time for you, time to do what you wish, and we wish you nothing but the very best going forward.
