Do you spread manure on your land? 💩

It’s an excellent, cheap and readily available source of valuable nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. It also helps build soil organic matter and can reduce fertiliser costs.

But, there’s a problem. It’s difficult to be accurate with manure and this often leads to over/under application of nutrients.

Where nitrogen is concerned, the Yara N-Sensor can help even things up. During spring fertilisation the crop is scanned in real-time and the application rate is adjusted to ensure that your fertiliser is put where it’s actually needed and not where it isn’t.

Increase nitrogen use efficiency, reduce lodging risk and maximise your crop’s potential with the Yara N-Sensor.

Happy Yorkshire Day! 🤍💙

Based in Easingwold, we’re proud to call Yorkshire our home.

Where’s your favourite place in Yorkshire?

Today we removed an N-Sensor ALS-2 system from this 5 year old Agrifac Condor self-propelled sprayer.

The customer is getting a new sprayer, stay tuned for when we refit the N-Sensor system with a brand new upgraded terminal ready for spring fertiliser applications.

One of the great things about the N-Sensor is that it’s designed to move with you. The core technology is nearly 30 years old and the ALS-2 is 8 years old. Some farms change their machines every 3 years or so, it’s nice and easy to move the system from one machine to the next.

If you’re interested in variable rate nitrogen application and what benefits the N-Sensor can bring to your farm then get in touch today. 👇

We installed this CropScan Ag 3600h just before Christmas, it’s now undergone a full calibration ready for harvest and we’ve given the operator some training on how it all works.

Real-time protein, moisture and oil - measured in the field for immediate insight and smarter decision making. 🤓

What a day! 🌾 A huge thank you to James and the Agronomy Connection team for hosting a brilliant Trials Open Day at Sledmere Farming on Friday.

It was fantastic to see so many of you at our stand, the conversations were brilliant and it’s always great to connect with people who share the same passion as us. 😁

We took a lot away from the trials ourselves, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

If you’d like to discuss any precision farming solutions for your farm, give us a shout or look out for our stand at a show near you. 👋
