Two machines fully installed for the Ministry of Defence.

Today, the Opus CNC team completed the full installation of two machines for the Ministry of Defence in Tidworth, Wiltshire.

The installation included an Olympus 1325 ATC CNC router and an Oculus 6090 free-standing CO2 laser cutter — giving the customer both CNC routing capability and precision laser cutting in one versatile set-up.

This is a very proud moment for everyone at Opus CNC. Supplying machinery to an organisation such as the Ministry of Defence is a real reflection of the trust placed in our machines, our engineers, and the support we provide from delivery through to installation, training, and aftercare.

The Olympus 1325 ATC offers dependable automatic tool change routing performance, while the Oculus 6090 provides accurate CO2 laser cutting and engraving capability in a compact free-standing format.

Installed, training complete, and ready for work in Milton Keynes.

The Oculus 1525 Flatbed Laser that recently headed out to Milton Keynes has now been fully installed, with training also completed by the Opus CNC team.

Supplied with LightBurn software and a 150W laser tube, this machine gives the customer a powerful and versatile CO2 laser cutting set-up, ready to support a wide range of applications.

There is always a great moment at the end of an installation when the machine is in position, the training is complete, and the customer is ready to start putting it to use.

From delivery through to handover, this Oculus 1525 is now set up and ready to get to work.

Another machine heading out the door this afternoon.

This Oculus 1525 Flatbed Laser is on its way to Milton Keynes, complete with LightBurn software and a 150W laser tube.

It has been a busy day for the Opus CNC team, and this is another great machine now loaded up and ready to begin its journey to its new owner.

The Oculus 1525 Flatbed Laser offers a large working area, precise CO2 laser cutting capability, and excellent versatility for businesses working with a wide range of materials. With the added 150W tube, this machine is set up to deliver strong cutting performance, while LightBurn gives the customer an intuitive and widely used software package to help manage their laser work efficiently.

Birmingham to Durham last week. Durham to Birmingham this week.

Last week, a customer travelled up from Birmingham to visit Opus CNC, see our machines in person, and spend time with the team.

This morning, their new Olympus 1530 ATC CNC router is heading out for delivery.

We always say there is no substitute for seeing a machine properly before making an investment. A showroom visit gives customers the chance to see the build quality, ask the right questions, speak with the people behind the machines, and leave with real confidence in their decision.

For this customer, that visit has now turned into delivery day.

Installed, training complete, and one very excited customer in Bridgwater.

The bespoke Pegasus 2560 ATC CNC router has now been fully installed, with full training completed by the Opus CNC team.

This has been a fantastic project to follow from start to finish — from the machine arriving on site, being offloaded and positioned, right through to final commissioning, training, and handover. Now everything is complete, the customer is excited and ready to start putting their new machine to work.

This is not a standard machine either. This bespoke Pegasus 2560 ATC has been built with a large 2.5m x 6m working area, giving the customer the capacity to process much larger sheets and components. It also features an extended gantry height, offering greater flexibility for larger and more demanding materials.

As with the wider Pegasus range, this machine is equipped with high-spec components, including a powerful 9kW Italian HSD spindle, Japanese Yaskawa servo motors and drives, a Syntec control system, and a 12-position carousel automatic tool changer.

The machine is heading into a fascinating manufacturing environment, supporting the production of prefabricated fibreglass modular housing panels. With the customer focused on developing modern solutions for faster, more efficient building, this large-format Pegasus is set to play an important role in helping bring that vision to life.

A 2.5m wide, 6m long working area, extended gantry clearance, automatic tool change, premium components, heavy-duty Pegasus performance, and a customer who cannot wait to get started — exactly what we like to see.

Arrived, offloaded, and installation underway in Bridgwater.

This bespoke Pegasus 2560 ATC CNC router has now arrived with our customer in Bridgwater, and the Opus CNC team are already well underway with the installation.

From the machine arriving on site, to being carefully offloaded and positioned, it is always exciting to see a bespoke project start to come together. This is a serious machine, built for serious production, and once fully installed it will play an important role in supporting the customer’s UK-based modular housing manufacturing.

The customer is developing prefabricated fibreglass modular housing panels, designed to help rethink the way homes are built by reducing build times, improving consistency, and simplifying the construction process. Their work focuses on strength, durability, insulation, soundproofing, ease of installation, and long-term performance — making this a particularly exciting project for us to be involved in.

With its large-format working area, automatic tool change capability, and heavy-duty Pegasus build quality, this bespoke Pegasus 2560 ATC is a fantastic fit for a forward-thinking manufacturing environment.

Installation is in progress today, with full training to follow tomorrow.

Today we have a bespoke Pegasus 2560 ATC CNC router heading to Bridgwater for a customer focused on developing solutions for the global housing crisis through UK-based modular housing manufacturing.
