In May last year I reached retirement age so I decided to finish my Triumph Gt6 for myself. Here are some pictures. Now that I have finished the car I have decided to sell it.
I acquired the car totally striped down in parts so everything has been serviced and refurbished. I have not built the car to be a concours car but one I wanted to use. I will probably regret selling it but I have too many projects.
Here is a list of works carried out
Chassis.. New front cross member, Hinge boxes, Outriggers,
Body.. New floor pans, new rear wings, all new inner and outer sills, new boot floor, repair panels to the rear quarters, heel board and rear cross member, lower A panel repairs, bonnet front cross member, both head lamp mounting panels, both front quarter valance replaced. This is not an exhaustive list of body repairs.
Engine was stripped and refurbished, unleaded head, crankshaft polished and new shells fitted. new timing chain and tensioner, new water pump, all new seals,
Gear box was I gather refurbished by the previous owner. I could see a new over drive solenoid fitted, Clutch was like new, fitted a new slave cylinder.
Running gear has all been refurbished, New front uprights and trunnion-less bearings. new front springs and coil over shock absorbers. adjustable rear shock absorbers. All bushes are now poly bushes. All universal joints have been replaced within drive shafts and prop shaft. Rear spring has been refurbished.
Brake system has been serviced and refurbished. New piston and seals to the calipers, new rear wheel cylinders, new brake pads and shoes, new seals to the master cylinder.
Interior has been refurbished new vinyl coverings, new carpet set, new head ling, the only things that are original are the seats.
New tyres on 5.5 wheels

The car has been MOT tested.

Lancia fulvia came in for extensive body work it had been with another restorer for a few years before it came to me for finishing by a good customer of mine. A fair amount of panel work and panel fit was required. Coated the underneath with raptor tinted with yellow. I have used this a few times now it gives an excellent tough finish

Rubber bumper midget came in for finishing work. Body panel fit, doors, bonnet , a few body repairs, and a few repairs around floor and spring hangers. Needed to be repainted because of repairs and a lot of sand marks within previous paint job. New soft top fitting, dash refitted and electrics made good. Engine serviced and carbs set up. The customer had carried out a lot of good work himself but sent the car up to a restoration company up north for a new clutch, head gasket. and a new wiring loom, engine tune up. I found wires not connected to fuel tank, gearbox, behind dash some of the instruments not connected. I started up the engine to find fuel all over they had put the float needle upside down😕
