A vacancy has arisen for a Delivery Driver/Yard Man.
Redpath Tool Hire is a Leading Tool Hire in the Scottish Borders. Our Management has supplied non-operated plant and equipment hire services to customers in construction, civil engineering and road maintenance for 33 years which is a testament to our culture of “committed to service in everything we do.”
An exciting opportunity exists for the permanent position of Delivery Driver/Yard Man based at our Duns Depot on a full time contract. Basic hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and optional Saturday 8am to 12pm.
Reporting to the Managing Director the main purpose of the role is to provide efficient and professional service for and behalf of Redpath Tool Hire.
Key Duties:
• Daily deliveries of our extensive product range to our customer sites.
• Dailt collections of our extensive product range.
• Dealing with customers on site and over the telephone.
• Yard duties when required.
• Help and support other staff.
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate should be a good communicator (verbal and written) and be able to work effectively as a team member in a fast paced environment. Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous but full training will be given.
