It was a pleasure to welcome the Year 11 Engineering students from St Joseph's College, Coalisland, in association with MEGA- Manufacturing & Engineering Growth & Advancement to NHL Cylinders recently for an industrial visit.

The students had the opportunity to explore hydraulic cylinder design and manufacturing processes, while also seeing how robotic machinery is integrated across our shop floor to support efficiency, precision, and innovation in production.

They also gained valuable insight into our automated testing systems and how Lean manufacturing principles are applied throughout our operations to maintain quality and continuous improvement in a busy production environment.

At NHL Cylinders, we are proud to support the next generation of engineers by providing real world exposure to modern manufacturing and engineering practices.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen international connections, explore growth opportunities in the US market, and showcase Northern Ireland’s innovation and manufacturing expertise on a global stage.
