Dirk in progress. Practice run from scrap leaf spring for another project.

The final piece is going to be high carbon core with wrought iron jacket with bog oak and copper handle!

on this Sgian Dubh. Just roughing out the handle without too much of a plan, just seeing what works and feels comfy as I go.

Can't remember what this wood is, it's an offcut I got from a wood workshop ages ago, but I'm going to darken it at the end to match the blade. That's why I chose a fairly plain wood

Hey! 👋

It's been a wee minute since I last posted so I thought about damn time I did

I'm alive! So sorry I missed the Edgy Expo 😔 100% I'm going to get my ass to it next year though, looks like it went well!

The car has been off the road for a bit and lost the job I had as I was doing deliveries in my own vehicle.

Cars finally repaired so I'm good to get back in and smash some steel. I've got a few projects in progress already which I'll aim to get done ASAP!

Repairing the cars left me a bit fu**ed right now financially, so just wanna remind people this Damascus Sgian Dubh with purpleheart and antler is still available 😊

I got a new product to improve the sheath, so here's some new pics. I think it helped a lot!

Oh yeah! I just remembered. There's another sgian dubh here that got a new sheath made. First one was s**te and not good enough. Will upload shortly...
