HSE has refreshed its guidance on asbestos to help you protect yourself and your workers.

HSE BUILDING SITE INSPECTIONS
HSE inspectors will visit construction sites across England, Scotland and Wales in September and October to check that workers’ health is being protected from the risks associated with moving and handling materials. They will look for evidence of employers and workers:

Knowing the risks.
Planning their work to eliminate or substitute the risks where possible.
Using the right controls where elimination or substitution of the risks is not possible.

Plansafe Solutions Ltd are urgently seeking an Engineer Surveyor, four days per week, to carry out inspections to a high standard, ensuring compliance with LOLER, PUWER and PSSR. Experience of Lifts and LEV would be advantageous. Candidates MUST hold HNC Engineering qualification. This position would suit a well trained and experienced Engineer who holds a full, clean driving licence, is prepared to travel and is, on occasion, able to work away from home. A bonus scheme is in place for staff introducing new business to the Company.
