The role will be based at our new production facility based at Lochfoot.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on our conveyor and collaborative robotic systems. If you are a motivated professional with a strong background in industrial electrical work and a desire develope skills with innovative projects, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and implement electrical systems for new projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
Qualifications:
- Valid Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial electrical work, preferably with some exposure to control panels.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and schematics.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and other automation technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
