Let's talk innovation and technology 💡⚙️

Today we visited the Institute of Technology in Dudley, discovering their facilities, discussing possible future projects and having a chat with their lovely (and very helpful) staff.

They were kind to offer us the use of their facilities, including their 3D scanner and 3D Printer Lab. We'll sure be coming back with an exciting new project very soon 👩‍💻👩‍🔧

⚙Throwback Thursday - Belfast Brick Soap - Silicone Moulds⚙

Silicone mould-making is not something we would do very often, but when we do it we do it well! This Thursday, we’re taking a little stroll down memory lane to our project with Cowfield Design, where we helped to develop a new product for their Irish souveneir range - a Belfast brick insprired soap bar 🧼✨

We started by CAD-ing up a prototype, 3D printing it in resin, and crafting a silicone master mould. From there, we made the negatives for the final moulds, and just like that—Belfast Brick soap came to life!

This project still holds a special place in our hearts, and nothing makes us prouder than spotting those little Belfast Brick soaps sitting on the shop shelves.

Throwback to another cool project from the archives! A client asked us to design a custom stamp with their logo to brand their products.

As always, we whipped up the CAD prototype, got the thumbs up from the client, and delivered all the necessary files. The best part? Getting photos of the finished product and seeing that the stamp is, in fact… stamping! ✅🔥

We absolutely love it when clients share photos of our CAD models coming to life! What was once a simple 3D computer model is now a real, assembled metal part, awaiting its final touches. And honestly, there’s nothing more satisfying than hearing how happy the client is with the finished product - that’s the cherry on top of our CAD cake! 🎂👩‍💻

A lovely client from Gateway Steel Fabrications reached out to us with an exciting project: create a product concept for a windscreen storage rack. Of course, projects like these are our bread and butter 🍞🧈—so we dove right in!

In no time, the concept was modeled up and delivered, leaving our client happy and us ready for the next challenge 👩‍💻 👩🏼‍🔧
