Wrought iron production just before it ceased worldwide. This video gives a great understanding of the process and why wrought iron is such a great material for blacksmiths. Unfortunately it’s only available these days as a recycled product, so the cost is too high for everyday use. I still insist on using it for restoration and conservation work.
