Recent trip to the North East saw us visit the team P:UFitness A good amount of changing parts and of course the obligatory action shot! 😁. Sometimes a quick change of a small part, like a sprocket or a bungee cord, can make a massive difference to how a machine feels. If yours doesnt feel quite like they used to, message us and arrange a date for a service! 👍 UFitness

A visit to our good friends WeTRAIN last week saw us servicing and repairing the rowers, skiergs and bikes. Interesting one with a skierg where the left handle looses all resistance at high speed and power. Two possibles. The flywheel axle had some score marks and a little lip from repeated wear from the spool and a little corrosion. Cleaned the corrosion off the axle and changed a corroded bearing. Installed a new spool too in case the clutch had failed and tested. Appears ok. Customer to update if it should happen again and we will look to order a new flywheel and axle 👍😁

On one of the hottest days of the year recently, I dragged one of my daughters along to CrossFit Verulamium to help service their rowers, skiergs, bikes, runners and bars. She did really well and earnt a bit of pocket money too for our family break. 👍😄 New skierg handle cords and bungees for some of the skiergs, new chain and sprocket on a rower along with 4 new bungees installed on the others. Great to see Claudia and the team once again!

Hugely enjoyable day last week! 👍 Lots of technical bits to get our teeth into, in order to bring some of the machines at Bath back to life and back onto the floor. Really great to catch up with Ed and the team again and a warm welcome as usual. 😁☕️

A new chain and sprocket on one of the rowers, a new sensor required as well and some new bungees for the skiergs. Great to be back last week and good to get back into their kit, to get them singing again;
Fan housings cleaned ✔️
Debris removed from blades ✔️
Chains cleaned and lubricated ✔️
Seat roller height adjustment ✔️
Fastenings checked and re-torqued✔️
Firmware updated ✔️
Bearings checked and lubricated (clutch) ✔️
And much more.

Asked to come back to last week to check over their skiergs. As you can see on one of the images, some of the handle cords were very close to snapping! New ones were installed along with some bungees, some new axle bearings. A couple of the top brackets were also loose, giving a bit of a squeak (ever wonder what that was?😁). A star drive and a 9mm spanner - all fixed. 👍
