Hugely enjoyable day last week! 👍 Lots of technical bits to get our teeth into, in order to bring some of the machines at Bath back to life and back onto the floor. Really great to catch up with Ed and the team again and a warm welcome as usual. 😁☕️

A new chain and sprocket on one of the rowers, a new sensor required as well and some new bungees for the skiergs. Great to be back last week and good to get back into their kit, to get them singing again;
Fan housings cleaned ✔️
Debris removed from blades ✔️
Chains cleaned and lubricated ✔️
Seat roller height adjustment ✔️
Fastenings checked and re-torqued✔️
Firmware updated ✔️
Bearings checked and lubricated (clutch) ✔️
And much more.

Asked to come back to last week to check over their skiergs. As you can see on one of the images, some of the handle cords were very close to snapping! New ones were installed along with some bungees, some new axle bearings. A couple of the top brackets were also loose, giving a bit of a squeak (ever wonder what that was?😁). A star drive and a 9mm spanner - all fixed. 👍

An interesting one this. We were asked to a clients site, who had just had there machines serviced by another company. 🙄...

An interesting one this. We were asked to a clients site, who had just had there machines serviced by another company. 🙄 As the company in question could not come back to sort it?. On inspection the rower was very clean, however, all fundamental / mechanical issues did not seem to have been addressed. The machine needed a new chain and sprocket (see sprocket image), the bungee was not tensioned, the seat was wobbling. Bits of the machine were the wrong way around. Anyway, happy to say the machine is now as good as new👍
Beware - not all servicing is equal

Loved being back at Bristol last week . Always a pleasure to catch up with Angelo, one of the nicest guys around. Serviced the rowers, skiergs and bikes. A few new parts needed, but they were all pretty good - shows they've been regularly serviced by a pretty good service provider 😉 👍
