Our works at The Royal Hotel, Weymouth, are now complete, with the designed access scaffold fully handed over to O'brien Roofing LTD

This project brought the added challenge of an exposed seafront setting and recent storm conditions, requiring steady progress and measured decision-making on site. The team delivered the scaffold safely and erected to a high standard, including the phased handover of the turret sections to support ongoing remedial works.

A great result on a prominent and historic building.

🚧Project Update | The Royal Hotel, Weymouth🚧

Good progress continues at the Royal Hotel, with the designed access scaffold now well underway to support external remedial works for O'brien Roofing LTD. We have successfully handed over the first turret, allowing follow-on trades to begin works in that area.

The site team have maintained a practical, can-do approach throughout, while regularly assessing conditions on this exposed seafront location. As weather conditions deteriorated, particularly in higher-risk areas, the decision was made to pause works where necessary and reassess, ensuring safety remained the priority at all times.

A top effort on a challenging historic building, with further updates to follow as the project progresses.
