The issue with the new E10 fuel is not only compatibility with the piece of equipment it is being put into, there are also other considerations particularly leaving fuel standing in equipment for any length of time greater than 2 weeks, this results in deposits showing up inside engines that are causing deterioration in essential components.

In order to help our customers we are currently removing old fuel and adding new fuel that contains an additive to stabilize the fuel for much longer periods.

We are particularly doing this on all equipment we service during the winter period as in the case of mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters etc these can be standing unused for a number of months often resulting in poor running or non starting come the growing season.

If customers are concerned or confused they can always ring us and we give advice to reassure.

This was a monster job, a total rebuild of a 30 year old motorised barrow that had been left outside for the last ten years.

Nothing worked, everything was seized solid. It's been stripped back to the bare chassis and rebuilt.

Big job but very rewarding!
