For just over four months, Luke has been a valued intern with and Ambifibre team, and his impact is already clear. Luke came to us through .yorkshire , who help neurodivergent young adults gain life skills and employment. Recently, Luke proposed an innovative idea to use textured tubing to enhance how light interacts within a sensory lighting tube, giving it a more accurate and vibrant display of the projected colours.
Working alongside Jenny, they constructed a custom lighting tube by hand to test his concept idea. Luke was absolutely right; the textured tubing delivers noticeably improved colour accuracy and visual clarity.
This kind of curiosity, creativity, and hands‑on problem‑solving is exactly what strengthens our workplace and pushes our sensory products forward.
