We’re incredibly proud to share that Agemaspark, Workshop Manager, Sam Buxton has won the Career Development Award at the 2026 Metals Industry Apprentice of the Year Awards.
Organised by The Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers Alias Wire Workers, the national awards recognise exceptional apprentices making an outstanding contribution to the UK metals industry.
Sam received the award at the prestigious Court Dinner held at Grey’s Inn, London, in recognition of the personal and professional development he has demonstrated throughout his Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager apprenticeship.
Alongside his day-to-day operational leadership role, Sam has played a key role in supporting Agemaspark’s Fit For Nuclear accreditation, strengthening quality systems and helping drive continuous improvement across the business.
This achievement reflects Sam’s commitment, professionalism and determination to keep developing both himself and those around him.
