Just a little update on the progress of our Christmas raffle and a thanks to a few of the people who have generously donated raffle prizes. We have attached a list of some of the prizes to be won. There is still a week or so left to call in, buy some tickets and play a part in supporting such a worthy local charity.
Carol the wife of one of the owners of DMA posted the following words of thanks:
“Morning all, just felt i needed to give you an update on our Christmas raffle in Armthorpe DMA in aid of firefly. I cannot believe the generosity of you wonderful people, I had hoped that it would be possible to raise £500 for this worthwhile charity, however this amount was exceeded in the first few days,we are now upto a whopping £1400 and still rising, this amazing amount will make such a difference to so many people who rely on Firefly Cancer Awareness and Support fo make their cancer treatment less stressful. We have some lovely prizes donated and some very generous cash donations. We’ve also had donations from local people and businesses.
