The shop is a fully loaded hardware Warehouse in it's own right, selling tools, hardware, gardening, paint & paint accessories, houseware, cookware, petcare, hoover accessories, plumbing & electrical accessories, toys & gifts & much much more.....

Manned by Colin, and a team of specialist engineers and consultants, not only do Mainly Tools have the obvious tools on hand, they have the expert kno

wledge and resources to be able to suggest the not-so-obvious alternatives should they deem it appropriate! And if it's not to hand, they may be able to get it, or suggest to the Purchasing Department that future stocks may include a possible new line. Least of all, we will be able to refer you to our Internet Shop - as the Company has extensive Internet coverage as well. Why not come and have a look for yourself. If you're creatively inclined, it's very difficult to leave empty-handed - as we stock so many useful tools and gadgets, at such excellent prices. And don't forget the Household related goods. Clothes, bin-liners, washing lines - and tools for the Garden as well - spades, forks, rakes, brushes etc...... Come and browse round see for yourselves.

To all of our wonderful customers and our amazing staff,

As our shop is now closed and we begin a new chapter in retirement, we wanted to take a moment to say a truly heartfelt thank you.

We have been deeply touched by all of the lovely messages, kind words, and support shared on our page. Your comments about the shop, and especially about our staff, have meant more to us than we can ever properly express. Seeing so many likes, loves, and caring messages has been incredibly emotional and comforting during this time.

To our loyal customers — thank you for supporting us over the years, for your friendship, kindness, and for being such an important part of our lives and our business. You helped make the shop far more than just a place to work; it became a community filled with memories we will always treasure.

To our fantastic staff — thank you for your hard work, loyalty, care, and dedication. We could never have done this without you, and we will always be grateful for everything you brought to the shop and to our customers.

Although it is sad to close this chapter, we leave with full hearts and so many happy memories. We are now looking forward to retirement and the next adventure ahead, carrying with us all the kindness and support you have shown us.

As we prepare to sadly close the doors of Mainlys of Devizes, I want to take this moment to recognise someone very special — my husband, Colin.

Sixteen years ago, Colin opened Mainlys with a vision, a huge amount of determination, and a lot of hard work. Over the years he has dedicated himself to building the business and making it the success it became, always thinking about what you, our customers wanted and needed and also what you didn’t realise you needed! 😂

Mainlys has been a big part of our lives, and none of it would have been possible without Colin’s commitment, long hours and unwavering support.

Now, as this chapter comes to an end, Colin is retiring to enjoy a well deserved rest — and while it is emotional to say goodbye, he truly deserves the chance to slow down and enjoy the years ahead.

Thank you, Colin, for everything you have given to Mainlys over the past 16 years. I am incredibly proud of all you have achieved. ❤️

Mainlys of Devizes
After many years serving our customers, we’re sad to announce that we will be closing our doors next week. 😔

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our loyal customers for your support, kindness and friendship over the years — it has meant so much to us. 🙏

We also want to publicly thank our wonderful staff: SAM, LORRAINE , RICHARD and DAVE. This closure means their roles are sadly coming to an end, and we are incredibly grateful for all of their hard work, loyalty and dedication. We’re pleased that Sam, Lorraine and Richard have already found new opportunities, and we wish Dave all the very best for the future. 🙏🤩

A very special thank you goes to JOHN , our manager, who will also be retiring. John has been a huge part of the business and we cannot thank him enough for his years of commitment, care and support. We wish him a long, happy and well-deserved retirement. 🤩

Thank you again to everyone who has been part of our journey. We will miss you all very much.
