We are looking for machinists/toolmaker/CNC operator to join our team.
 Established in 2002 Derwent Valley Tooling Ltd specialise in the provision of tooling manufacture and precision engineering services to customers across a broad range of industries supplying our clients on a local national and international basis we work closely with members of the food, oil , automotive and aerospace industries amongst many others.
We have over 40 years of experience in the tooling manufacture and precision engineering. Experts in component design fabrication and inspection from single product development to prototypes and batch production runs.

We are looking for a manual machinist/toolmaker to join our team.
About the Role;
We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to develop their skills working in a small skilled team. The role of machinist/Toolmaker involves production of precision tooling and components using a variety of machinery both manual and CNC to customer specifications.
Responsibilities;
Produce high quality bespoke Tools using manual machine is including lathes, milling machines wire eroder, spark eroders, grinders and CNC machines.
Assembly of Tools
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings carrying out inspections using measurement equipment
Any other workshop duties that may be required.
Salary;
From £16.00 per hour (depending on experience and skills), 37 1/2 hour week Monday to Friday with the opportunity for overtime.

About you;
Proven experience of the use of manual milling machines and lathes.
Valid driving license and passport are required
