🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Party at the Park 2026 – CANCELLED
It is with great disappointment that Branston Town Council has made the difficult decision to cancel Party at the Park, due to take place on Saturday 29th August.
This decision has not been taken lightly. We know how much this event means to our community, and after months of planning with our performers, stallholders, charities, volunteers and partners, we are incredibly disappointed that we have had to make this call.
However, with the weather forecast continuing to deteriorate and Saturday expected to bring significant rainfall and challenging conditions, the safety of our residents, visitors, performers, volunteers and traders must remain our absolute priority.
We appreciate that many families were looking forward to enjoying the live entertainment, funfair, food vendors, community stalls and the free inflatables and face painting that Branston Town Council was proud to sponsor. Unfortunately, the forecast conditions mean we cannot safely deliver the event to the standard our community deserves.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported Party at the Park, including our incredible performers, stallholders, charities, sponsors, volunteers and staff who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes.
Most importantly, thank you to our residents for your enthusiasm and support throughout the countdown.
We share your disappointment, but we hope you'll understand that this decision has been made with the safety and wellbeing of everyone at the forefront.
