Sons Terry and Paul joined the family business (as well as Terry’s wife Carole), and expanded into mail order packaging and the manufacture of cardboard boxes in the 1990s. Internationally recognised quality accreditation was also achieved through BS5750/ISO9001. As major UK packaging suppliers, Davpack embraced the development of the internet and in the late 1990s became the first and original UK source for companies wishing to buy packaging online. In the past decade, Davpack has grown substantially, with significant expansion of product ranges, staff and warehousing to move further ahead of its competitors. In 2004, with the increasing expansion of its national Customer base and growth of new channels such as the internet, the Company became known as Davpack. Although it still firmly retains its roots in packaging supply, as the Company continues its growth into other areas, the change of name to Davpack reflects new energy within the business and a forward thinking approach to satisfying Customer's packaging and associated requirements. In 2012 Davpack became part of Ratioform and the Packaging Solutions Division of TAKKT and Terry and Carole Davenport retired from the business, although Paul Davenport continues as Sales Director. Today, Davpack is headed by Managing Director Barney Byfield, and continues to focus on offering superior choice, value and speed of supply.
