🔢 12 handles. 12 finishes. One favourite…

We’ve put together a selection of 12 different door handle finishes, and we’d love to know which one you’d choose for your home.

The differences can be tricky to spot in a photo, so we’ve numbered each one and listed the finishes below:

1️⃣ Satin Nickel
2️⃣ Polished Nickel
3️⃣ Oscuro Matt Black
4️⃣ Polished Chrome
5️⃣ Satin Chrome
6️⃣ Polished & Satin Nickel
7️⃣ Polished & Satin Chrome
8️⃣ Tuscan Rose Gold
9️⃣ Polished Chrome / Satin Nickel
🔟 Etna Bronze
1️⃣1️⃣ Favo Satin Brass
1️⃣2️⃣ Florentine Bronze

Which number would you choose? 👇

There’s no right answer… we’re just curious which finish is the most popular! 😉

⚽️ A brilliant day at Burton Albion! 🖤💛

Saturday saw Raygar take centre stage at the Pirelli Stadium as Match Ball Sponsors for Burton Albion v Mansfield Town.

And what a memorable day it was!

🎂 We were celebrating two birthdays in Box 1, with Lynn and Donna given the very special honour of walking onto the pitch to deliver the match ball before kick-off.

Our special friend Theo was also there and, as always, he certainly made his presence known 😄 He even took part in the Crossbar Challenge, although we're not sure whether he was more interested in the challenge or entertaining the crowd! ⚽️😂

Ray also had the honour of presenting Man of the Match to Kegs Chauke, a player we are particularly proud to sponsor. 👏⚽️

We were also delighted to meet up with Nigel Clough on the pitch for a photo, with the Raygar name proudly displayed on the scoreboard behind us. 🖤💛

And of course, there had to be a few photos in the dugout too!

The final score was Burton Albion 2–2 Mansfield Town, but for our Raygar team and our Box family, it was a day full of birthdays, football, laughter and plenty of memories.

Happy birthday again to Lynn and Donna! 🥳

🚗 Three garage doors, one happy customer! 🔧

We recently supplied and fitted three new garage doors for a customer with this large garage project.

The building may still be a work in progress, but the garage doors are in and looking great! 😍

Our customer, Ben Leatherland, was really pleased with the result, and we were delighted to be able to supply and install exactly what he needed.

🚪🔥 FIRE DOOR BEING WEDGED OPEN?

We've all seen it, a simple door wedge keeping a fire door open because it's more convenient during the day.

But there's a serious problem with that...

A fire door can only help protect people if it is able to close.

Fire doors are designed to help prevent the spread of fire and smoke, helping to protect escape routes and, depending on the door's specification, potentially giving people valuable extra time to get to safety.

Wedging a fire door open can therefore undermine one of the most important things the door is designed to do.

So what's the solution?

The DorGard door retainer allows the door to be held open for everyday use, whilst releasing it when the fire alarm operates (dependent on model) so the fire door can close.

✅ Convenient when you need the door open
✅ Releases when the alarm activates
✅ Allows the fire door to perform its intended function

A simple solution to a common problem and a much safer alternative to a door wedge.

🔐 PRODUCT OF THE WEEK: WHICH LOCK?

Think all door locks are the same? Think again!

There are plenty of options, so here’s a quick guide to help you choose:

🔑 MORTICE DEADLOCK – The straightforward option. A key-operated lock that’s fitted into the edge of the door. Great when you simply need a secure lock.

🚪 MORTICE SASHLOCK – Similar to a deadlock, but with a latch too. Ideal for doors that need to be opened with a handle but also locked with a key.

🔒 EURO CYLINDER – A popular choice for modern doors. The cylinder can be easily replaced without changing the whole lock – handy if you need to change the key.

✨ DIGITAL LOCKS – No key? No problem! Depending on the type, doors can be opened using a code, card, fob or other electronic method. Great for controlled access.

🔥 FIRE DOOR? Make sure the lock you choose is suitable for use on a fire door and forms part of the correct overall fire door specification.

Still not sure which one you need? Tell us what you're working with and we'll help you find the right solution. 👍
