Happy belated new year everyone. Well, WOW. What can I say but thankyou to all our valued customers for 2025.

We had an incredibly busy end to the year and, after a well earned rest and some quality family time over the festive break we’ve been back to the grind stone in January.

Galvanised staircase and fabricated posts for two areas of balustrade for a local building firm delivered late October. Various metal home and garden ornaments for The Vintage Tableware Company in Sheffield. Design and Joinery work with water lane joinery and finally fitted the functional art in Derby last week.

Don’t forget, we do decking and balustrade, steel pergolas, bespoke fencing, gates, handrails, smokers and bbqs. If it can be made with steel, glass, timber etc, we can make it happen.

Been an incredibly busy few weeks here at Rare Beast. Gates, balustrade, and sculpture work has all been through the workshop and doing a bit of wood work with the crew at Water Lane Joinery. Always up for learning new skills and quite proud of my first solo attempt at a door. It’s now fully painted and glazed ready to be installed next week.

Busy day today, especially battling the morning drizzle to get this job finished for a lovely customer. Roughly 28m of balustrade, a mix of powder coated steel “picket” style panels running along the side of a static caravan. Complimented by a Accoya Color handrail. Posts with toughened glass panels around the decked area at the front. Perfect for sitting out and enjoying all the wildlife in this beautiful rural location. Accoya color is a sustainable stabilised timber product with a 50 year manufacturer rot resistant guarantee.
