Another video from the start of the month. Bucket bracket replacement and edge. While on site we also had some sheep pen lugs and gate hooks to weld on and around the yard. Nice little job for the start of the year bring on 2026. #

Oh the joys! First day out in the new van and we ended up with a flat tyre. Luckily it was Toby Arundale that noticed the tyre not failing to make a quick joke out of it. But oh well spare tyre on got me home and now back and ready for the next step in the business world.

🌲 High ho, high ho — into the woods we go! 🌲

Last week we were called up to the redwood forest in Leighton after a well-known timber company recommended us to a local contractor.

🔧 Their trailer had been unstable during loading, with cracks forming from the cable hole over the years of heavy use. We carried out an on-site field repair to get them back in action — part one of a three-part job (stay tuned for part two!).

We also made a quick repair to a 16-tonne elevator with a few cracks needing attention.

Not every day a shed gets to dress up as a wedding venue…

From a pile of twisted steel on the ground to a standing frame and for one magical weekend, it swapped grinding dust and oily rags for bunting and vows.

Congratulations to Toby Arundale and crew, you cleaned it up a treat for the big day!

Looking forward to seeing it settle into its real job as a proper workshop soon. But for now, it’s probably still hungover from all the fairy lights and romance.

Another little repair job, welding up a few cracks and reinforcing the supports to the snacker so it's back and ready for work.
