Wopa system collected today. This system is designed so that the access gate for the trimmer also closes the race to stop the next cow moving forward. The hurdles are 2m long, meaning that they fit inside the chute.

I posted a video a couple of weeks ago explaining how white line cracks can occur in sheds with scrapers. This is a two week re-check on a white line, healing nicely.

However, more interesting is the big section sheared off the oak wooden block. Just shows the big shear forces in action - I found it interesting anyway… 😀

Monday trimming in the hot sun. Got two dairy visits done by 13:00. Moved the third job to tomorrow morning as we were planned to be outside on the concrete which would not be fun for us or the cows in this weather. I’m off to hide in the workshop now….

2m Hurdles off to Scotland to be used with a Wopa crush. The gates are catching on with the wopa boys. I used to carry some buchered steel ones with my Wopa and it’s kind of how all the fabrication started.
