Some occasions call for something just a little special to be on display.

Our take on a traditional looking boat hook is a very popular one.

It just screams quality and the highly polished marine grade stainless steel works so well with the contrasting satin black anodised aluminium of our pole & striking red locking levers.

Why is the Buoycatcher Mooring Trio becoming a must-have onboard? ⚓

Because today’s mooring situations demand more than just a standard boat hook.

Whether it’s pickup buoys, rafting, med mooring, floating lines, pushing off, threading heavy lines through rings or recovering from the unexpected… the Mooring Trio gives you the tools to handle it safely, quickly & stress free.

No gimmicks.
No gadgets solving problems that don’t exist.
Just real solutions for real boating situations.

Everything you need onboard… whatever mooring challenge you encounter. 🇬🇧

Rafting up can sometimes be the easy part… it’s securing your own line through the buoy afterwards that often becomes stressful.

Traditionally this means someone climbing into the dinghy, going forward between boats & anchors, receiving the line, threading it through the buoy and passing it all back again.

In crowded anchorages that can quickly become awkward — and sometimes hazardous — with anchors, chains, bows and boats all close together.

That’s one of the situations the Buoycatcher Max was really designed for.

Instead of needing to send someone out in the dinghy, you can work as a team and secure your own mooring line directly from the bow of your boat — or often from your neighbour’s boat with their permission (they’re usually more than happy to get involved 😄).

Less hassle.
Less risk.
And a much calmer way of rafting up.

⚓ Built for the expected & unexpected.

One thing we’ve learnt over the years is this…

Once boat owners actually get their hands on a Buoycatcher product, they instantly understand why it’s different.

Our partners at Moorbuoys have been demonstrating the Buoycatcher range at the Anacortes Boat Show in Washington State — the perfect location considering just how heavily mooring buoys are used throughout the region.

In fact, the stock they took to the show sold out on Day 1.

But the interesting part came afterwards…

The demonstrations continued throughout the entire show, giving visiting boat owners the chance to physically try securing mooring lines to one of the most commonly used buoy setups in the area.

The feedback was incredibly consistent:

• Stronger
• More versatile
• Better engineered
• Unlike the products commonly available in US chandlery stores or online marketplaces

And importantly, the momentum didn’t stop when the show ended.

Online orders using the event promo code started arriving immediately afterwards — reinforcing something we’ve already experienced here in the UK:

When Buoycatcher products are seen in action around marinas, yacht clubs and mooring fields, word spreads quickly.

People talk.
Boat owners share experiences.
Website traffic increases.
Orders follow.

We’re excited to see the Buoycatcher brand beginning to establish itself in the United States 🇺🇸

Big thanks to the team at Moorbuoys for flying the flag for us across the Atlantic.
