From concept to creation: Behind The Scenes of KYGO Flame Palm Tree 🌴🔥

Kygo’s flame palm tree for his Ushuaïa Ibiza residency was a standout build for us at FABER, pushing the team to blend engineering and artistry in equal measure. Combining CAD design, laser cutting, fabrication, and plenty of late nights, the team engineered and built a structure that could erect itself in a pool, without any plant or lifting gear. The result? A spectacular centerpiece worthy of the show.

The Laserblade 2 is the latest innovation from FABER. Built from the ground up to meet the demands of modern show environments. With 8 apertures delivering 1W white-balanced laser (or 1.7W in high-power mode), 40° X-axis scanning, and 240° of tilt driven by absolute encoders, this fixture is all about tight control, smooth movement, and clean output .

Designed by FABER’s in-house engineering team, it includes hardware range limiters, dead zone mapping, and a secure tilt brake.
