Mine & my neighbours houses illuminated in RED to show respect and draw attention to my brothers & sisters in the event / entertainment / wedding / celebration / music / concert & theatre industries - who will remain out of work for at least the next 6 months due to the COVID pandemic.

Nothing has been put in place to support this industry whilst huge efforts have been made to see virtually every other industry return to business (in some shape or form). It also appears that all financial support will be withdrawn or minimal for us all moving forward. This means that unless something is done soon to support us in some way - when this pandemic eases or is eventually over, these businesses and industry professionals may no longer be there to entertain you!

COMPETITION TIME! Win a FREE quiz night for your local boozer! (If you want to tag the manager / landlord / landlady - this is fine too).

Our ‘Smartphone Pub Quizzes’ are a trendy modern twist on an old fashioned pub quiz - you answer questions within 10seconds using your smartphone - no pens, no paper, no cheating - so it’s fair for everybody taking part. We do various rounds (general knowledge / trivia / music etc) and host the night with a professional compère (loads of light hearted humour & witty banter). Take a look at the demo video:

January & February is a tough couple of months for local pubs - give something back by entering them into our competition - it only takes a few seconds!

T&C’s - competition closes midnight Saturday 29/2/20 - venues for the quizzes must be within 15miles of Darlington - date and times of quiz is subject to availability so some flexibility will be needed to fit around regular quiz nights we already host. Venue is to supply any prizes required for 1st / 2nd place winners etc - no charge will be made by us to the winning venue or to guests for taking part. If you have tagged a venue but not LIKED & SHARED the post - the entry will be excluded.
