The latest member of the MFF family has arrived! ⚙️

We’re delighted to get our new 60-tonne ironworker home and into the workshop.

This is a great addition to the MFF setup and will speed up fabrication, improve efficiency and extend our capabilities across a wider range of fabrication work.

Another investment in the business as we continue to grow and develop what we can offer our customers — bringing more capability in-house and getting the job done faster.

Big machine, big step forward for MFF. 💪

2026 annual outage successfully completed at Kinlochleven Hydro Power Station.

We were delighted to work alongside Green Highland Renewables (GHR) on this project. The outage was completed successfully and safely.

A big thank you to everyone that was involved and the support throughout the project. We hope to work alongside GHR again in the near future.

Another outage complete — onto the next one! 🔧⚙️

MFF has had a week at the harbour, with a couple of fabrication jobs keeping us busy.

We’ve been fabricating an aluminium bed for a local working creel boat.

We’ve also been working for Cromarty Firth Marine Services, fabricating and installing a stainless steel survey pole for one of their current contracts.

A busy week at the harbour, getting a few jobs completed and ready for the next ones.

✅ 2026 Balcas Outage Complete

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of another outage at Balcas.
Our team carried out a wide range of work throughout the project, including :
Heat exchanger works,
Pump installation and maintenance
Pipework fabrication
Mechanical works
General fabrication and installation
