OSL Global is proud to be supporting Egis on one of Australia’s most significant rail infrastructure programmes.

Cross River Rail is a 10.2km new railway under Brisbane’s CBD, with four new underground stations and a major role to play in strengthening the city’s transport network ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Egis has recently been announced as the preferred signalling design delivery team for the North package, building on its existing delivery of the South package.

Having supported Egis on the South package since last year, OSL is pleased to continue working closely with their team as the North package develops.

Our support covers key signalling design and technical deliverables, including:

⚫ Microlok and SSI interlocking data,
⚫ Control tables
⚫ Off-site principles testing across multiple phases of work across the scheme.

It is technically demanding work on a major international programme, requiring close collaboration, clear interfaces and strong signalling expertise.

Productive design session yesterday with Southbay Civil Engineering Ltd on the Tilbury scheme, where OSL is supporting the delivery of a new facility for Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.

Gunnersbury Junction is a critical interface within London’s rail network, playing a key role in maintaining service frequency, reliability and operational flexibility across the capital.

To address an ongoing failure mode at this location, works were undertaken to remove and replace Reed Point Detection equipment, improving performance and long-term asset reliability.

Project Update:
📍 Cornwall
🤝 Colas Rail

The Mid Cornwall Metro (MCM) project is a rail infrastructure enhancement scheme designed to improve connectivity and capacity across mid-Cornwall, including the Newquay branch line.

The project includes infrastructure and signalling upgrades between Newquay and Par, helping enable more frequent and reliable services and allowing more than one train to operate on what has historically been a largely single-line route.

OSL Global continues to support Colas Rail with their works on the programme. As part of this support, OSL provided Principles Testing and Functional Testing during the main commissioning and subsequent stages of the works.

Projects like MCM play an important role in improving regional connectivity and strengthening the wider rail network.
