Well… more like a whole family of products 👀

Up until now, we’ve offered bulkhead cutouts with added mesh during our builds—giving you much-needed light and ventilation in the rear while keeping the bulkhead in place.

Introducing our new bulkhead cutout panels. Made on our CNC punch from 2mm aluminium and finished in a sleek satin black powder coat. Built to look and fit better.

Coming soon as a self-install kit, including:
✔️ Cutting template and fixings

We’ve already developed panels for:
✔️ VW Caddy
✔️ VW Transporter T6

…and we’ve got plenty more on the way.

🚨Pricing Update🚨

As we approach our accounts year-end—a time when plenty of paperwork gets shuffled—it also gives us a valuable opportunity to reflect on what’s working well and where we can improve.

We’ve reviewed our costs carefully to keep our pricing as fair and competitive as possible.

As part of this, we’ve made the decision to no longer accept card payments. After exploring all available options, fees remain consistently high, and with increasingly tight margins, we need to protect our business.

Moving forward, we will only be accepting payment via BACS, which will also help streamline our admin processes.

Unfortunately, due to current market conditions, we are experiencing significant increases in material costs, alongside rising fuel charges and additional supplier surcharges. With further administrative costs linked to upcoming regulations, we have no option but to implement a modest price increase of 5%.

For example, a typical 2-up, 2-down cage setup currently priced at around £1,950 (incl. VAT) will increase to approximately £2,050 (incl. VAT).

These changes will come into effect from **1st June**.

You might start noticing some changes in our setups 👀
We’ve added a turret punch, which means we can now swap some wire mesh for punched aluminium panels… but why the change?

👉 Lighter weight – makes a big difference overall
👉 Faster fabrication – quicker and easier to build
👉 Mesh challenges – prices are up (around £15 per sheet this year 😬) and lead times have stretched to 3+ months from some suppliers
By switching to punched panels, we can reduce how much mesh we rely on 🙌

We had a lovely grey Transit Custom in recently for a matching crate set up. This one features sliding doors on the two side cages to fully utilise the space.

Get in touch for a free no obligation quote if you’d like a bespoke set up for your van. At present we are pretty much booked for April so are looking at May dates now. Or if you’d like to get booked in after the show season we can reserve your dates too.

(Please note sliding doors do take more time to craft so are charged accordingly)

Our Amada turret punch is settling in nicely and already getting up to speed in the workshop.

Here it is punching out cage latch plates from a sheet of 2 mm mild steel. Each part will be carefully deburred to remove any sharp edges, then folded and welded into the door framework to securely hold the latches.

Great to see the machine already hard at work producing quality parts.

It’s fri-yay!!

Lots going on here at the moment - Furniture being made for a company in Bristol, Dog Crates in progress and more Yurt Poles being finished ready for the spring and summer camping season.
Hopefully we’ll have some fab finished result pictures for you once these products are all made.

In other news, Rob has also been let loose on the auction websites again and has purchased a piece of machinery (again 😂). I’m told it’ll make production of key elements easier and speed up some processes! I think he’ll do a post soon to let you know what it does…

We do have a couple of final slots left for crates in March if anyone is wanting to book in ready for Spring ☀️
