✨ Welland's Advocate Event 2026 ✨
Last week, we had the privilege of spending time with some of our incredible advocates, and what a truly special day it was. 💙
We began at a beautiful off-site location, capturing content, sharing stories, lots of laughter, and creating memories together. Most importantly, we had the opportunity to listen. Each advocate shared their unique journey, their experiences, challenges, triumphs, and the moments that have shaped them along the way. 📹 🫶
Their honesty, resilience and willingness to open up about life with a stoma is something we never take for granted. We are continually inspired by our advocate community, and we feel incredibly honoured that they trust us to help share their stories with others. 🌼 💬
After the photoshoot, our advocates joined us at Welland Medical for a factory tour, giving them the chance to see how our products are made and meet some of the people behind the bag. They also took part in a special session where they shared their stories directly with some of our colleagues. It was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do and the real lives behind every product we create. 📸 🎤
To our advocates, thank you. Thank you for your openness, your kindness, your feedback, your support, and for continually helping us learn and grow. You are at the heart of everything we do. ❤️ 🌱
And whilst the day may be over, this is by no means the end. In many ways, it feels like the beginning. The beginning of more conversations, more stories being told, more awareness being created, and more opportunities to inspire and support others within the ostomy community. 📖 😊
