Pro-Lite Appointed Distributor for Filter Manufacturer Andover Corporation

The Pro-Lite Group has been appointed as a distributor for Andover Corporation in the UK, Ireland, France and Germany. Andover, based in Salem, New Hampshire, USA, is a leader in the field of optical coatings and filters for the spectral band 193nm in the UV to 14µm in the far infrared.

Andover’s advanced filters are deployed wherever high performance and durability matter, from advancing the exploration of space to engineering the future of medical discovery. The main application areas served by Andover are in medical instrumentation, fluorescence studies, machine vision, agricultural imaging, LIDAR sensors used in ADAS autonomous vehicle systems, ground-based and space-borne astronomical observation, telecommunications, military and civilian surveillance systems, and defence targeting systems.

Pro-Lite is delighted to announce that it is now a distributor for the multispectral cameras made by SILIOS Technologies (Peynier, France). In the field of spectral imaging, what multispectral cameras concede to hyperspectral imagers in spectral resolution, they gain in terms of speed and relative affordability. The SILIOS technical approach creates spectral imagers that operate in near real-time, making them perfect for capturing fast-moving objects at video frame rates.

SILIOS Technologies offers a range of “off-the-shelf” multispectral cameras which address the VIS, NIR and SWIR wavelength ranges. The CMS Series of VIS/NIR cameras are based on COLOR-SHADES® pixelated filter technology, combined with either 1.3MP or 4.2MP CMOS sensors for the VIS + NIR bands, or a 1.3MP InGaAs sensor for the SWIR band (1100-1600nm).

Of note is the SILIOS TOUCAN multispectral camera. This snapshot multispectral camera captures 4.2 Megapixel raw images made up of ten 512 x 512 pixel spectral sub-images covering the complete spectral range from 400-900nm in one camera.
