One year on from its launch, the Fendt e107 V Vario continues to attract attention across the agricultural industry, most recently being awarded Reserve Champion in the RASE Burke Innovation Trophy for Agricultural Machinery 2026 at the Devon County Show.
Presented by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh, the award recognises machinery and technology that helps farmers improve productivity and efficiency in response to the economic and environmental challenges facing modern agriculture.
Commenting on the award, Richard Gueterbock from Foodchains, who supported the Devon County Show with the organisation of the Burke Innovation competition, said: “Equivalent in weight to the diesel version, this electric tractor enables farm businesses producing their own electricity to utilise that power in a small tractor”.
The recognition highlights the growing interest in practical alternatives to conventional power sources and there is continued interest from fruit and vine growers, as well as groundskeepers within the amenity sector, looking to understand and assess where an electric tractor could fit into specific tasks and operations.
Over the last year, the Fendt e107 V Vario has featured at demonstrations, events and working applications across the UK, giving growers the opportunity to see the technology for themselves and assess its potential within fruit, vineyard and specialist crop operations.
