Some restoration projects need more than a good eye — they need a full 3D dataset architects can actually design around. At the Lower Swansea Valley Copperworks, Andrew Scott is restoring chimneys among the last of their kind still standing (the Musgrave Engine House on site is genuinely one-of-a-kind — BBC covered it).

The remains are significant enough they've shaped the whole redevelopment's design. Physical access to structures like this is tightly restricted, so we captured a full 3D survey of the chimneys and handed it straight to the restoration team — a model they could measure, section and plan repairs from without a single scaffold going up.
