Spending time in Jail.
I had the privilege of introducing craft skills to some of the prisoners at Alt Course Prison's metalwork department in Liverpool. Introducing Repoussé to the lads was great fun. To be honest I was very apprehensive going in, but the staff were fantastic and supportive, and the prisoners were keen to learn, focused and showed real respect for being given the opportunity. Hopefully I'll be invited back.

What a way to kick off our first job!
A busy week getting ready for the stakeholders meeting. I can now announce we're consulting on the restoration of the Fulham Gasholder in partnership with Alloyfab Weld. As part of the exciting redevelopment and transformation of the redundant gasworks site the Grade-II* listed Gasholder No. 2 – one of the earliest surviving structures of its kind, built in 1829-30. It will be retained as a key part of the placemaking strategy, and a celebration of the area’s rich industrial heritage. The 2 year project will be completed im June 2027.
