With the number of BMW M cars we send parts out for just in the last 6 months alone. We wondered, has anyone actually gone full carbon conversion? Quick YouTube search and this came up. First time anyone has apparently tried it.

It's a G82 M4 getting the full OEM BMW M4 GT3 Cup racing kit fitted to a street car. The body kit alone is six figures, more than the car itself. Pre-impregnated carbon throughout, swan neck wing, three-piece front splitter, full diffuser. Over a foot wider than stock. The only things remaining from the original car are the doors and the roof.

The problem? No installation guide, no OEM mounting points, everything needs custom bracketry. The GT3 race car also has the engine sitting roughly a foot further back in the chassis, so a chunk of the brake ducting and radiator setup physically won't fit on a street car without major surgery.

What do we reckon? Does it make it to the road, or does it become a very expensive puzzle?

Customer car flashback: and what an interior. A big thanks to one of our customers for sharing this pre-2020 S14 build featuring Sparco Evo seats and purple LUKE harness belts supplied by us.

It’s a great example of how the right seat and harness setup can completely change the feel of a performance build. Support, control and a proper motorsport look, this was an install we genuinely loved being part of.
