With some tricky weather conditions, there was some great golf and also some bad golf played at Wellingborough Golf Club for the Kori Construction Limited Charity Golf Day a couple of weeks ago.

It was a fantastic event to be part of, all in support of an incredible cause that Kori Construction are fundraising for throughout the year, with strong backing from the local community - Bemorefab Children's Cancer Charity. M.R Industrial Services are proud to have contributed to the fundraising on the day and to have taken part in the charity golf day as well.

Our team didn’t do so well overall, but individually our MD, Matthew Ross done what was needed on the day and that was beating the PRO! 👏

A big thanks to Kori Construction for the invite and we look forward to the next one! 🙌

M.R Industrial Services took part in a charity football tournament last week at Berkhamsted Football Club, supporting the Glencar Foundation… The lads only went and won it, bringing the Silver Cup home!! 🏆

The lads played 7 games in the group, winning 3, drawing 3 and losing 1, finishing joint 3rd in the group stage which was enough to qualify for the semi-finals. They then won 3-1 to set up a great final where M.R won an impressive 4-0 to take home the Silver Cup. 👏

This was great that we won the overall tournament, but the main reason was to raise funds for a great charity in the Glencar Foundation who continue to do a very impressive job in supporting communities and making a real difference – that’s the real winner!

Great charity, great event, great result!!

This prestigious recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health & safety, and wellbeing across all areas of our business. It is not just about compliance - it’s about creating a culture where health & safety is embedded in everything we do.

This achievement would not be possible without the dedication, professionalism, and care shown by our entire team. Every individual plays a vital role in ensuring that health, safety & wellbeing of all, remains a priority all day, every day.

Alongside the whole business contributing towards this, a massive well done to our Health & Safety department, especially Michael Morrisroe & Angelika Zarebska, keep up the great work! 👏

We’re proud to share a major milestone for our team at M.R Industrial Services.

Following a successful three day surveillance visit, we have officially passed our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.

This achievement reflects our continued commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and the health & safety of our people, partners and stakeholders. It’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and high standards upheld across the business.

These sit nicely alongside our other accreditations and we also have some big news regarding our ROSPA, keep you eyes peeled for that…

A big thank you to everyone involved, directly or indirectly, in making this possible - your efforts drive our ongoing success and improvement on a daily basis.

We told you to keep an eye out and here they are… the second batch of vans have been delivered 👀

Our new vans/fleet will be out and about near you soon, new colour, new fleet, same service!

This investment forms part of our ongoing commitment to reliability, safety, and continuous improvement in every aspect of our operations.

As you can see from the below images, these vans look really good, and we can’t wait to see them out on sites with a fresh new look 🙌

At M.R Industrial Services, we are continuing to look for practical ways to reduce our environmental impact while improving operational efficiency.

As part of this commitment, we have recently transitioned our forklift fleet from LPG-powered trucks to fully electric FLTs. 🪫

With our workshop and site teams recently completing their refresher course on the forklift’s, it was only right we refresh our forklifts too.

While the change may appear small in isolation, it forms part of our wider sustainability objectives and ongoing efforts to reduce emissions across our operations. Moving to electric equipment helps eliminate on-site exhaust emissions, reduce fuel consumption and improve overall air quality within our working environment.

Sustainability is not always about large-scale changes. Often it is about making a series of considered improvements that, over time, collectively reduce our environmental footprint.

This transition is one of several initiatives we are implementing as part of our wider environmental and sustainability strategy, and we will continue to look for opportunities where operational improvements align with responsible business practices.

As we are coming to the end of National Apprenticeship Week, we wanted to acknowledge the effort, work rate and value that our apprentices have on our business.

M.R currently have 5 apprentices within the business, who in future, will be core members of the M.R Industrial Services Team. The experience varies as we have a couple who are in their first year and 3 lads that are coming to the end of their apprenticeship but it’s good to see them all helping each other!

Each of them has shown a great attitude to work and have gained valuable work experience, a number of qualifications and training in the workshop and on site.

We even had one of our apprentices reach the WorldSkills UK Final at the end of 2025 which shows great commitment and growth!

We are very proud to have recently completed LHR21 Data Centre project for Glencar Construction in the past few months where we were involved for over 2 years!

We had on this project well over 100+ items of work to complete which all involved full design process, fabrication, precision planning, and an unwavering focus on safety and quality, along with huge number of man-hours on site for installation.

Here is just a small amount of items that we completed:
- All internal core stair balustrades & loading bay staircases
- Bespoke roof step overs for the layout of all services
- All structural lift frames steelwork
- Gantry steelwork for all levels
- Façade supporting steelwork
- Supporting steelwork & flooring for all high-powered generators

Data centres are challenging but if you have the right teams working together to achieve the same goal then anything is possible.

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication, skill, and teamwork of everyone involved from M.R and the trust the clients have in us to keep working on these large-scale digital infrastructures.

Thank you to everyone involved in this project, one of the many data centres that we have completed over the years, and we look forward to the next one!

Last year marked 10 years of M.R Industrial Services - a milestone we’re incredibly proud of. 🙌

To celebrate, we rounded off 2025 the best way possible with our Christmas night out, bringing together the team that made it all happen.

The team headed out for drinks and a couple of games of bowling before heading to The RAJ Kettering where we were treated to some fantastic food! We would like to thank The RAJ for their great hospitality and a very good night again!

A huge thank you to all our staff, clients, and supply chain for your continued support over the past decade. Here’s to another great year ahead 👏🛠️

🎄✨Giving Back This Christmas✨🎄

This festive season, M.R Industrial Services was proud to donate Christmas gifts to Kettering General Hospital, Skylark Ward, helping ensure that children spending time in hospital will still receive a little Christmas magic on the big day🎁

We hope these gifts bring smiles, comfort, and joy to the amazing young patients and their families. A huge thank you to the incredible staff at Kettering General Hospital for everything they do, especially at this time of year.❤️
