The first team finished off the season in style with a superb victory over Barton Town Reserves.

The visitors took the lead early on when a one-on-one chance was well saved by Lewis Burchnall but the rebound fell kindly for the striker to drive through bodies on the line.

Town fought back almost immediately as Lee Wilson scored high into the goal, and then went in front when Liam Cotton diverted Reece Pemberton’s free kick into the net.

It looked like a nearly perfect first half for Town until The Swans found the net again with an impressive first-time strike from distance to make it 2-2.

Town stepped up a gear in the second half and went ahead once more with an exceptional breakaway goal, set up by Reece and finished with the outside of the foot by wing back Harley Stanton.

From then on there only looked like one winner and MOTM Reece Pemberton finally got the goal his performance deserved after fantastic work from Aiden Willerton.

The result means the first team leapfrog Louth Town Reserves to finish 10th in the Lincs League.

After many months of trying to find a display cabinet for his had made steam engines, our customers finaly decided to have a one off cabinet made to there exact specification. A full steel powdercoated frame, Mirrors to the rear and glass to all three sides, glass shelves and led lighting installed. This was an absolute pleasure to create and I think you will all agree not its full it looks absolutely fantastic.

A recent job for fiskerton parish Council, play park gates had been damages so we supplied and fitted new hinges, self closers drop bolts and slam plates.

Willerton wallops The White Wolves as The Wongers win again!

The first team won consecutive league games for the first time this season and did it in some style with a 5-1 victory over local rivals Louth Town Reserves.

Aiden Willerton got Town off the mark inside ten minutes when he bullied the opposition centre half and finished expertly. Just minutes later skipper Scott Lowman whipped in a perfect free kick for Liam Cotton to head home - a repeat of the trick they performed in the last game.

Willerton put Town 3-0 ahead with only twenty minutes gone, but Louth did start to get a foothold in the game and won a penalty that was converted to make it 3-1 at half time.

However, Town’s second half performance was controlled from the start and got better when joint player-manager Alec Enderby burst through the away defence like prime Wayne Rooney to finish with aplomb (the less said about his miss a few moments later the better).

With ten minutes to go Reece Pemberton won a penalty which Willerton converted to complete his hat-trick and add some gloss to the scoreline.

Overall, another exceptional showing from the lads and a thoroughly deserved win which takes us from 13th to 11th in the table.
