From CAD to Craft.

Another commercial RIB tube designed in-house at HG Marine.

This tube has been developed from the ground up in CAD, allowing us to control panel geometry, seam positions, reinforcement areas and fitting locations before material ever reaches the cutting table.

For commercial operators, that means greater consistency, repeatability and traceability — whether we’re producing a one-off replacement tube or supporting a fleet of vessels.

Combining digital design with hands-on inflatable boat manufacturing is becoming a key part of how we approach new tube builds at HG Marine.

Every component we manufacture starts with accurate technical drawings and a clear process.

Whether we're producing bespoke Hypalon components, carrying out a retube or supporting a fleet, detailed documentation helps us achieve the same high standard every time.

The hands-on skills in the workshop will always be at the heart of what we do, but they're backed by engineering, documentation and continuous improvement.

It is always a privilege to support independent lifeboat organisations across the UK and Ireland, helping to keep these incredible volunteer services operational.

It was a pleasure to supply and deliver this IB1 D-Class lifeboat to Humber Rescue and oversee the process from start to finish. Minimising downtime was our priority, and we’re proud that the boat was operational within just a couple of hours of arriving at the station.

We were also pleased to provide a relief D-Class lifeboat while Humber Rescue’s replacement boat project was underway, ensuring they could continue providing lifesaving cover with as little disruption as possible.

It’s always a pleasure working with the team at Humber Rescue, and we’d like to thank them for their continued trust in HG Marine.

We wish everyone at Humber Rescue many years of safe and successful service with their new lifeboat. Stay safe, and thank you for everything you do for your community.

In many cases, accessing and resolving an issue within an inflatable structure requires working from the inside—often in confined spaces and around existing construction.
