Here’s one of the petrol mowers we recently had in for service.

The engine wasn’t receiving enough fuel from the carburettor, which caused it to run rough.
After a closer inspection, we found the fuel tank was full of dirt. This had clogged the carburettor jets, and the fuel itself was stale.

We fully cleaned out the fuel tank and the carburettor, added fresh fuel, and the mower ran smoothly again.

Once the running issue was sorted, we carried out a full service, including sharpening the blade.

Result: one happy customer and a mower ready for another year of reliable work.

After a very wet winter, moss has taken over many peoples borders in the garden.

Remove the moss by hoeing and then airate the soil with a garden fork or hollow-tine aerator.

This process will help prevent further moss growth and the moss thats been broken up will be used by birds to build their nests. 🐣
