💧 Repairing a Burst Pipe on a Farm 💧

The team tackled a burst water pipe on a local farm. After digging down to the problem and carrying out repairs, water was soon back where it was needed - filling the drinkers and keeping everything running as it should.

Swipe for our four-legged site manager, Blaise. He made sure to inspect the work from the digger seat.

🏇 Stable block designed and built 🐴

This project was all about creating a strong, practical, and attractive stable block. The design was carried out by M J Hardie Ltd, with a focus on durability and usability for day-to-day farm and equestrian needs.

The finished build provides a secure, long-lasting space, combining steelwork and timber for both strength and style.

💧 Drainage problem solved 💧

This client’s garden was constantly waterlogged from rain running off the main road. We installed a new drainage system, using our diggers to set solid gate posts and a tailored drain to redirect the water.

The result: no more standing water, and a garden that stays dry.

Our 9T Develon DX85R-7 in action

Earlier this year we added this machine to the M J Hardie fleet and it went straight to work. 💪

After being impressed with our first Develon excavator and the back-up service from Gordons Construction Equipment, we decided to step up to a bigger model to take on larger groundwork and engineering jobs.

This 9-tonne digger has already proven itself on site, giving us the power and reliability needed for drainage, foundations, and heavy-duty projects.
Big thanks to Gordons for their support, and here’s to many hours of hard work ahead with the new machine.

Our engineering division, specialists in working at height, recently carried out a repair on large industrial ducting for a globally recognised client.

Water had accumulated in the duct due to incorrectly fitted drainage, leading to damage to critical electrical components. Our team installed a correctly designed drain system to ensure effective water run-off and prevent future build-up.
