Last week we celebrated a very special birthday for someone who has been at the heart of the Kocher+Beck UK family for almost 30 years.

Janet is the person who never lets a birthday pass without making it extra special, treating us all to her wonderful homemade cakes and helping create so many happy memories over the years.

This time, it was our turn to celebrate her! On one of the hottest days of the year, Janet surprised everyone by arranging for an ice cream van to visit the site, treating the whole team to a well-earned cold refreshment. 🍦☀️

🎉 Celebrating an Incredible Milestone – 30 Years of Service! 🎉

Today, we are proud to celebrate a truly remarkable achievement as Steve Edwards marks 30 years with Kocher+Beck UK Ltd – the first employee in our company's history to reach this milestone.

Steve joined us on 5th June 1996 as a CAD Operative when the business was based on the Hermitage Industrial Estate in Coalville and the team was just a fraction of the size it is today. Three decades later, as our Senior Customer Sales Representative – CAD, Steve has witnessed and contributed to the transformation of Kocher+Beck UK into the thriving business we know today.

Throughout his career, Steve has played a key role in developing our CAD processes, while also becoming a trusted mentor, colleague and friend to many. His knowledge, reliability, and willingness to support others have made a lasting impact across the organisation.

Thirty years of service is about far more than time—it represents dedication, loyalty, expertise, and a genuine commitment to both the business and the people within it. Steve embodies all of these qualities.

At K+B UK, the health and well-being of our people remains a top priority, and we are proud to continue our ongoing Health Awareness Drive throughout the year.

This month, our focus is on Hypertension Awareness – helping raise understanding of high blood pressure, often called the “silent killer” because it can develop without obvious symptoms. Left unmanaged, it can increase the risk of serious health conditions such as heart disease and stroke.

By encouraging regular blood pressure checks, healthy lifestyle choices, and greater awareness, we hope to support our team in taking positive steps towards better long-term health.

Small actions today can make a big difference tomorrow. 💙
